Cornell Design Connect - Upgrading the Town of Geneva, NY Transfer Station

Design Connect is a student-led semester-long class at Cornell University in which teams of students are paired with local communities to conduct research and provide recommendations on projects of the communities’ choosing. Co-project manager Sarah Stanzi and I led a team of 11 students in creating viable solutions for the Town of Geneva, NY to upgrade their current material transfer station in anticipation of the closure of the local landfill in 2028.
